Nemetschek North America (Columbia, MD) released the Spanish-language version of VectorWorks 12.5.2, a maintenance update for VectorWorks Architect, VectorWorks Fundamentals, and RenderWorks. The update fixes a problem some Macintosh users encountered when saving a file while other open files are minimized or docked; it also resolves cosmetic interface issues with Microsoft Vista. Active Sensing, Inc. (ASI; Castle Rock, CO) released PDXpert product lifecycle management (PLM) software in Simplified Chinese, to accommodate preferred local language versions from companies in China and India, two of the fastest-growing markets for PLM software. The Reveal Extreme Visualization Player from Computational Engineering International (CEI; Apex, NC) now includes full Japanese-language support. All menu items, dialog boxes, and help messages can easily be set to default to either Japanese or English at the user’s choosing.
