3D Printing Asia Announced

The event will run from Sept. 20-22 in conjunction with Asiamold 2016.

Messe Frankfurt has launched a new 3D printing event to run co-current with Asiamold 2016.

The event, titled 3D Printing Asia Zone, will include topics such as: 3D metal printing for the automotive and aerospace industries, metal printing materials and compounds, applications and development of 3D printing technologies in both the education and medial sectors and many others.

“The decision to turn the 3D Printing Asia Zone into a fair was prompted by its growing success. Since the zone’s establishment in 2013, it has expanded significantly in terms of exhibitor participation numbers and exhibition space. In 2015, it welcomed more than 60 domestic and international brands, a 25% increase from previous editions. Covering rapid prototyping, CAD/CAM software development, 3D laser engraving and a wide selection of 3D printers, the inaugural fair will be held concurrently with Asiamold 2016. Both events will run from 20 – 22 September at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. The inaugural fair is estimated to attract 100 exhibitors and more than 10,000 professional visitors, and cover 8,000 sqm of exhibition space,” says Louis Leung, deputy general manager at Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd.
