The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech (Cincinnati, OH) introduces a Industrial Panel PC, the IPPC-6172A, which features a 17-in. SXGA TFT LCD with an Intel Pentium M/Celeron M processor (up to 2GHz), 5 x USB 2.0 ports, up to 2GB DDR2 memory, CD-ROM, 2 x PCI expansion slots, Gigabit LAN support, and supports Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/NT.
The IPPC-6172A features an optional touchscreen, allowing direct interface and with a gull-wing design, flat-sealed NEMA4/IP65 front panel, the IPPC-6172A is said to be versatile, and one of the most rugged, accessible, and feature-rich HMI devices on the market.
