Agilent Releases Enhanced CXA Signal Analyzer

New capabilities include expanded testing for mobile, video devices and Windows 7 support.

Agilent Technologies has updated the N9000A CXA X-Series signal analyzer to support Windows 7 and perform new measurement applications.

The CXA RF also includes up to a 10 dB performance improvement and 64-bit, 4GB RAM enhancement. The microwave analyzer now has guaranteed operating temperature range between 0 °C and 55 °C, the company states.

Further updates to the CCA microwave analyzer include seven new measurement applications such as cdma2000, LTE-FDD/TDD, Multi-standard radio and GSM/EDGE/Evo, plus new measurement applications for digital video and wireless connectivity technologies. These include Moblie WiMAX, WLAN 802.11a/b/g/n, Digital Cable TV ISDB-T/Tmm and CMMB.

“The CXA entered the market as a high-quality, low-cost solution,” said Brian LeMay, general manager of Agilent’s Chengdu Instruments Division. “The latest enhancements add to its capabilities and value, delivering an affordable signal analyzer with even more features typically associated with higher-cost products.”

All new orders starting June 1 will include Windows 7 as a standard.
