AMD Releases FirePro S9170

The server GPU has 32GB of GDDR5 memory.

AMD has released the FirePro S9170, a 32GB single-GPU (graphics processing unit) server card for DGEMM heavy double-precision workloads. The device has support for OpenCL 2.0. and can deliver up to 5.2TFLOPS of peak double precision performance.

Other features of the S9170 include GDDR5 memory, a 320GBps memory bandwidth and up to 40% better double precision performance than its competitors, the company states.
