3D Systems Corporation (Rockhill, SC), a provider of 3D modeling, rapid prototyping, and manufacturing solutions, has announced that American Precision Prototyping (APP) of Tulsa, OK, will use only the 3D Systems’ Accura family of materials for its stereolithography (SLA) rapid prototyping and manufacturing operations.

APP is an authorized 3D Systems preferred service provider that operates multiple 3D Systems’  stereolithography (SLA) and selective laser sintering (SLS) systems. In addition to moving all of its production to the 3D Systems’ Accura line of SLA materials, APP has chosen to use the company’s DuraForm materials for its SLS operations.

The Accura portfolio of engineered materials delivers the quality and feel of injection-molded polypropylene, ABS, and polycarbonate, without molding, tooling, dies or traditional machining. This materials family includes the new gray-molded,  ABS-like Accura Xtreme plastic; the rigid, engineered nanocomposite Accura Bluestone, designed for motorsport and aerospace applications; and clear Accura 60 plastic, with the properties and appearance of polycarbonate.

3D Systems is a provider of 3D modeling, rapid prototyping, and manufacturing solutions used for design communication, prototyping, and production of functional end-use parts. More information on the company is available at 3D Systems. Visit American Precision Prototyping.
