AMUG Sets 2016 Conference Location

The event will be in St. Louis next spring.

The Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) has stated that its annual users group conference will be held in St. Louis from April 3 to 7, 2016. The conference will take place at the St. Louis Union Station, a National Historic Landmark.

The conference, according to the organization, aims to attract both novice and experts users seeking insights, assistance and guidance on additive manufacturing technologies, applications and processes. It will also have technical sessions and hands-on workshops to help users get the most out of their systems.

“The facility is amazing. It takes you back in time. Everywhere you turn, there is something interesting: artifacts, blueprints, architectural details and historic train cars. And of course, the facility has plenty of space for the conference and networking activities,” says Mark Barfoot, president of AMUG. “‘Missouri is the Show Me State,’ which reflects AMUG’s intent perfectly. Our event is designed to educate users and advance their use of additive manufacturing. We do that by creating an environment where users share information to show others how to achieve success.”
