ASVIC Engineering & Software (Nerang, Australia) released Mech-Q v3.22.100, which is fully compatible with AutoCAD 2009.
Main Mech-Q modules include Mech-Q Piping (an easy-to-use full 2D & 3D piping package that includes a range of pipe, fittings, flanges and valves — welded, flanged, threaded, ductile & cast iron, Victaulic stainless, PVC with auto-BOM); Mech-Q HVAC Ducting or HVAC Ducting (2D & 3D); Mech-Q Mechanical, a mechanical module with a range of mechanical symbols & housings, gears, material handling equipment, springs, shafts utility and more — most available in 2D or 3D solids); Mech-Q Structural for Mech-Q Structural Steel Detailing including steel shapes (AISC, BHP, CISC, DIN, RSA, JIS, IS), 2D & 3D with weighted auto-BOM. Beam connections, stairs, ladders, bracing, hand railing, frames, beam designer. Many modules have auto-dimensioning to fabrication detail.
