Aurora Engineering is offering a “No CAD Worker Left Behind” training program, which allows users to take CAD training at a reduced cost.

Aurora Engineering’s program is a 60-hour Basic Methods course for the reduced rate of $700.00, which the company says is a 50 percent increase in instruction hours and more than a 50 percent reduction in the cost. The course consists of 40 hours instruction and 20 hours of “soak time.” Soak time is dedicated to exercises and projects that provide practical application of the instructional material. A Part Design course and an Assembly/Drafting course is also offered for $700 each for those wanting or needing additional training.

The first class is on Jan. 11, 2010. Classes run from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information, visit Aurora Engineering.
