Becoming 3D Partners with MarkForged

The startup is now a reseller of the Mark One 3D printer.

Becoming 3D, a provider of 3D design-to-manufacturing solutions, has become a MarkForged Flagship Reseller.

MarkForged currently produces the only composite 3D printer, the Mark One. It lets users print parts with continuous strand carbon fiber, Kevlar and fiberglass. Using a patented process of a Composite Filament Fabrication (CFF) print head, alongside a FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) print head, the Mark One enables engineers to print end-use parts, brackets tooling and fixtures that traditionally are made from metals.

Users can also pause a print then add components before continuing the print.

Becoming3D’s comprehensive assessment and solution approach includes a financing program, training, supplies and servicing — critical elements for schools and businesses that are normally not included in the purchase of 3D printers.

“We are extremely excited to partner with MarkForged,” said Grant Sadowski, founder of Becoming 3D. “Their innovative technology and unique product offerings using nylon, fiberglass, carbon fiber and Kevlar positions us uniquely in the marketplace for success. We have experienced tremendous response from our customers since partnering with them.”
