Boeing, Citroen Headline GPU Technology Conference

GPU developers should mark their calendars. NVIDIA’s GPU Technology Conference will take place March 24-27 in San Jose, CA.

There will be more than 30 conference sessions at the event on topics including how manufacturing and AEC companies are leveraging advanced computer graphics at all stages of the product development life cycle; how analytical simulations and interactive, photorealistic rendering lets designers and engineers create fewer physical prototypes; and how advances in desktop hardware, cloud solutions, remoting and mobile platforms have accelerated the design life cycle.

Featured speakers will include representatives from Boeing, Honda, SpaceX, Gulfstream, and Renault. Presenters from PSA Peugeot Citroen will discuss the auto company’s GPU-accelerated workflow for designing, evaluating and simulating human machine interfaces (HMI) in new car models, while Safir Bellali of Vans will discuss how the brand is using virtual technology improve its design, development and marketing processes.

Daniel Simon, a freelance vehicle designer, will discuss potential racing prototypes through the year 2614, entirely rendered on NVIDIA GPUs.
