Bright Computing, a provider of hardware-agnostic cluster and cloud management software, will be releasing the Bright Cluster Manager for HPC (high-performance computing) at the ISC High Performance 2015 conference. The event will run from July 12 to 16 in Frankfurt, Germany.
The new release, according to the company, will include enhancements for configuration management, extended BIO support and integrated Lustre support. Also added are enhancements in the integrated support for various workload managers, such as control for custom kernels to refactored internals.
“The enhancements made in version 7.1 of Bright Cluster Manager for HPC further reduce the complexity of on-premise HPC,” said Matthijs van Leeuwen, founder and CEO of Bright Computing. “These Bright-managed HPC environments can be easily extended into the cloud to take full advantage of dynamic resources and virtualized infrastructure.”
