Burtek Announces Acquisition of Votaw Precision Technologies

Companies will expand offerings to aerospace, defense and industrial industries.

Burtek has acquired Votaw Precision Technologies, bringing together two major defense and aerospace industry suppliers.

Burtek provides engineered integrated solutions for aerospace, defense, energy and industrial markets. Votaw  is a company that specializes in 5-axis machining, large turning, flight hardware, ground support equipment and integration services.

The two companies will continue to operate with existing management, a company press release stated.

“With our combined capabilities of design and engineering tools utilizing multiple CAD systems and model based definition, as well as machining, fabrication, assembly and program management, we have significantly strengthened our turn-key service offerings,” said Jeff Daniel, president and CEO of Burtek.
