CAD Gorilla has released a self-paced, intermediate level, video curriculum for 2011 Autodesk Inventor called “Inventor Essentials.”

CAD Gorilla’s Inventor Essentials was designed for both new and experienced users. The course covers the most common features and functions used by professional designers for creating 3D parts and assemblies. Developed as a concept-based curriculum, the course provides a video library of features in Inventor that can be accessed on-demand, or when a user needs help with a particular function.

“Our teaching methodology lets you learn the underlying principles behind a tool, as opposed to simply being shown how to use them in one particular situation,” says Drew Adams,  Product Development Manager at CAD Gorilla.

The video based curriculum reinforces topics covered such as Sketching, Sketched Features, Placed Features, Work Features, Reference Geometry, Patterned Geometry, Design Strategies, i-Parts, Assemblies, and Exercises that reinforce the concepts.
