CD-adapco President and Co-Founder Passes

Peter Steve MacDonald led the company for 35 years.

steve_04CD-adapco, a provider of computational fluid dynamics focused CAE software, has stated that its President, CEO and Co-founder has passed. Peter “Steve” MacDonald, who lead the company for 35 years, died earlier this week.

According to the company, MacDonald passionately pursued his vision of “no-compromise” engineering simulation applied to real-world products and processes. His primary objective was to reach customers’ goals and push the limits of CD-adapco’s software offerings.

CD-adapco will carry his legacy with a host of talented, motivated individuals committed to MacDonald’s vision and customer-first business model.

MacDonald is succeeded by Sharron L. MacDonald as interim president and CEO of CD-adapco worldwide.
