CreateASoft, Inc. (Naperville, IL) has received a patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for Simcad Pro Dynamic Process Simulator, an immersive, dynamic modeling environment enabling an interactive process optimization experience.

Dynamic, interactive simulation allows users to make changes, immediately impacting the operation, on the fly, in real time. It offers advanced dynamic predictive technology which means no more coding or compiling, thereby reducing the time required to develop and optimize the model.

Users working with Simcad Pro’s dynamic environment have realized drastic reductions in modeling times from weeks to days for simple to moderate projects and from months to weeks for complex projects.

CreateASoft works with process-based industries providing advanced decision support and proactive management tools, including Simcad Pro dynamic process simulator.

New features include a new interface to simplify model-building steps and provide a simplified interface for basic vs. advanced modeling, an improved dynamic environment to allow for the addition of processes during the simulation run; Excel Import/Export Wizard; a scenario editor designed to simplify scenario analysis, a wizard tool to enable the addition of model constraints and parameters quickly, an improved 3D environment with added support for more file formats including SolidWorks 3D files; a rollback feature that keeps track of your changes and stores model revisions; a resource schedule generator that provides the location and time spent per resource in a Gantt chart format; and a model tree that displays the tree version of the model including all the process and connection line properties.
