DassaultSystemes (DS;  Paris ,  France ) announced that AutoForm Engineering GmbH (  Zurich ,  Switzerland ) has become a DassaultSystemes Component Application Architecture (CAA) Software Partner to deliver sheet metal forming solutions integrated with CATIA.

  AutoForm’s solutions enable product designers, process planners, and tool designers to perform early manufacturability and cost assessments quickly and efficiently during their design process in CATIA. They are able to set up the entire stamping process, make process modifications, and consider and evaluate different process layouts to identify the best ones within the context of their overall PLM process.

  AutoForm Engineering develops and markets specialized die face design and simulation software for the automotive and sheet metal forming industries. With all of the Top 20 automobile producers and customers,  AutoForm provides software for product formability, die face design, and virtual tryouts to the global automotive industry.
