Dataram Corporation (Princeton, NJ) announced a high-capacity 16GB memory upgrade for Sun Ultra 40 M2 workstations expanding total memory up to 64GB.

The DRSU40M2/16GB memory option consists of two 8GB capacity PC2-5300, DDR2-667 Registered ECC memory modules. Sun Microsystems new BIOS version 1.22 for the Ultra 40 M2 workstation enables addressing of 64GB of memory. The BIOS is available for download from Sun.

Upgrading the Ultra 40 M2 to 64GB makes it a perfect fit for memory intensive applications in many markets including EDA and Geophysical.

This new DRSU40M2/16GB offering complements the existing 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB memory options Dataram. All Dataram memory products are guaranteed to be 100 percent hardware and software compatible with the host system and come with a lifetime warranty and free technical support.
