DriveWorksXpress inside SolidWorks 2008 is an easy to use, rules-based design automation tool for SolidWorks engineers from DriveWorks (Thelwall, Cheshire, UK), allowing users to create multiple variations of parts, assemblies, and drawings quickly and accurately. It is included in every new seat of SolidWorks (Concord, MA),  Standard, Professional, and Premium.

DriveWorksXpress allows design engineers to capture dimensions and features so they can be controlled and driven; the next step is to build rules to determine what new variations should be generated, based on values entered into a simple form.

Once a project has been set up, new values can be entered over and over again for creating new variations of your models and drawings quickly and easily. And you can use it to save time automating bits of products (e.g., components) not just full products.

DriveWorksXpress is available in 13 languages worldwide through SolidWorks authorized resellers.
