Good news for users: Objet Geometries Ltd. (Rehovot, Israel) has made available their Durus FullCure line of photopolymer materials for the Eden250 and Eden260 office 3D printers, and is now available in 2kg cartridges.

DurusWhite FullCure430 is a product with a white transparent look and feel which emulates that of products made with polypropylene. The material addresses a broad range of applicationsrequiring polypropylene-like toughness, strength and flexibility, such as food packaging, laboratory equipment, loudspeakers, automotive components and more. The availability of a smaller cartridge size makes it a good fit for education departments, medical centers, consumer electronics and consumer goods designers as well.

The material also simulates the toughness (Izod Notched Impact of 44.22 J/m),  flexibility (Elongation at Break of 44.2%) and strength (Modulus of Elasticity of 1135 MPa) of polypropylene. Other features include mechanical properties that simulate polypropylene resistance to fatigue and enable snap-fit ability over time, making it a good choice for rapid prototyping where products must simulate the final product.
