e-Xstream engineering announced that Digimat 4.4.1, its nonlinear multi-scale material and structure modeling platform for high-fidelity composites simulation, is now available.
Digimat Basic includes linear solution, generic (non-)linear material data and improved workflows. CPU and memory use has been reduced by up to 40%.
The solution also features improved descriptions of failure of SFRP, and mapping between 3D injection molding meshes and structural shell meshes. It supports newprocessing simulation such as (injection-)compression molding and MuCell Fatigue of continuous fiber composites.
Version 4.4.1 is available for download on the support section of the e-Xstream website. The license file will be emailed to all Digimat users.
