EnvisionTEC Launches Micro Plus 3D Printer Line

The desktop systems have Wi-Fi connectivity and are suited for engineering, industrial design and medical applications.

At formnext 2015, EnvisionTEC has launched a new line of 3D printers. The Micro Plus is available in two variations, the Micro Plus Hi-Res and Advantage. This desktop offering has a new body style, a touchscreen and an integrated embedded PC with Wi-Fi connectivity, a company press release states.

The Hi-Res provides a build envelope of 1.8 x 1.1 x 3.9 in. and a resolution of 30 micron. The Advantage has a dynamic Z resolution that varies between 25 and 75 micron with a build envelop of 2.3 x 1.8 x 3.9 in. The Micro Plus printers can produce functional parts with materials for applications such as jewelry, toy, medical, engineering and industrial design.
