Eurocom Adds MXM 3.0b Graphics Upgrade Options

The company is offering the hardware for its older systems.

Eurocom is expanding its graphics upgrade options for phased-out laptops and mobile workstations. The Neptune P170EM and Scorpius P370EM now support NVIDIA GeForce 980M and 970M high-performance graphics solutions.

Customers can either order an upgrade kit or choose the Tune-up Upgrade option. The kit has a graphics card, integrated circuit thermal paste, thermal pads, an X bracket and screws as well as heat-sinks and cables.

The company is offering these upgrades to allow consumers and companies to extend the lifespan of their workstations while enabling enhanced performance for new software that requires updated graphics, a press release states.

“At Eurocom, we are a complete source of upgrade options as we offer 45 options for customers to choose from. We want customers to love their laptop, to keep their system for many years by giving them the capability to increase their performance and lower the total cost of ownership with a quick upgrade. We are trying to lead a Renaissance of Upgradeability to allow users the opportunity to lower the total cost of ownership by extending the life of their laptop by increasing performance and capability through component upgrades,” said Marc Bialic, president, Eurocom.
