Fairview Microwave Expands Waveguide Portfolio

Fairview Microwave Inc., a supplier of on-demand microwave and RF components, has launched a new family of precision waveguide directional couplers. The portfolio has 28 models that serve a frequency range from 18GHz to 110GHz.

Users can select from K, Ka, Q, U, V, E, and W bands. The couplers are offered in 10dB and 20dB coupling values and offer a high directivity of 30dB typical and an insertion loss as low as 0.6dB.

“Our newest portfolio of waveguide directional couplers provide designers a comprehensive selection for millimeter wave signal sampling and testing components when coaxial solutions are not possible,” says Brian McCutcheon, Vice President and General Manager at Fairview Microwave. “We are committed to expanding our waveguide product lines to ensure we have the components needed by engineers as the industry continues to push towards higher and higher frequency applications.”
