Forming Technologies Inc. (FTI; (Oakville, ON, Canada), a developer of software for the design, simulation, and costing of sheet-metal components, announced a partnership with Livermore Software Technology Corporation (LSTC; Livermore, CA) to develop solutions to address specific issues primarily driven by the automotive industry. These new solutions will become part of the FTI FormingSuite environment. The first release will commence in spring 2008.
LSTC, the developer of LS-DYNA, a transient dynamic finite element program capable of simulating complex real world problems.
