Frame Launches Pro 64GB

The cloud computing environment can now support multi-core rendering and simulation applications.

Frame, a cloud service, has released its new system, Pro 64GB. This version, the company states, lets designers and engineers run performance-demanding applications in the cloud.

Frame Pro 64GB is set up for multi-core simulation and rendering applications. It has two Intel Xeon CPUs, four NVIDIA GRID GPUs (graphics processing units), 64GB of memory and a SSD (solid-state drive) storage system in a cloud-based system. Users can access Frame’s on-demand computing power for around $4/hr.

This expands the company’s portfolio to include cloud computing for basic virtual computing to compute-intensive workloads.

“Conventional rendering hardware and high-end virtualization solutions come with a very high price tag,” said Nikola Bozinovic, CEO of Frame. “Our new Pro 64GB offering allows designers to shift to powerful visual workstations on demand. Access to stunning interactive photorealistic rendering has never been easier.”
