Fujitsu has introduced its first two-in-one display for 2D and 3D use, the P23T-6 FPR 3D. By incorporating both capabilities into a single 23-inch desktop display, users can swap between high-performance 2D applications and professional 3D applications, using battery-free, polarizing glasses to facilitate the RealD 3D-compatible experience.

The display is targeted at graphics professionals who use CAD/CAE,  simulation software and geo/satellite data processing systems. Other target markets include architectural, medical observation, advertising and point-of-sale consulting.

According to the company, the display provides bright, flicker- and fatigue-free pictures without crosstalk, by incorporating 3D Filmtype Patterned Retarder (FPR) technology. A large 3D cone viewing angle allows small groups to experience the 3D depth effect while experiencing presentations, even in daylight settings.

The display comes with a four-in-one stand, and includes an automatic brightness sensor and Eco mode capability. The display also incorporates Fujitsus 0-Watt standby mode.
