GEOMATE Company (San Jose, CA) released ToleranceCalc 6.0 tolerance analysis software, which seamlessly integrates within Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Mechanical applications, enabling users to attain design performance and manufacturing cost goals at more demanding product quality levels with ease, speed, and accuracy, says the company.

ToleranceCalc 6.0 lets users perform tolerance analysis of parts and assemblies at any stage of the design process. It concurrently delivers worst case and statistical analysis results for 1D and 2D vector chains that are defined using model geometry as overlay. For each analysis run, ToleranceCalc 6.0 delivers sensitivity analysis results that enable users to develop sound tolerance allocation strategies to help reduce product costs while achieving optimal product performance.

ToleranceCalc 6.0 is an Autodesk Inventor 2009 certified application; it can also be used in the standalone mode in conjunction with all popular DXF compliant CAD applications.
