GoBOXX Mobile Workstation Gets Intel Upgrade

BOXX Technologies has added an Intel Core i7-7700K desktop class processor to its GoBOXX MXL VR mobile workstation.

In addition to the four-core Intel Core i7 -7700K processor (4.2GHz), BOXX Technologies’ GoBOXX MXL VR also includes a 17-in. full HD display, M.2 SSD (solid-state drive) storage and up to 64GB of RAM.

“GoBOXX MXL VR is a true desktop workstation replacement, designed for mobile VR deployments, and built by the company that truly understands VR applications,” says Shoaib Mohammad, BOXX VP of Marketing and Business Development.

The company recommends the MXL VR for applications like Autodesk 3ds Max, Revit, Unity and IrisVR. Equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or 1080 graphics cards commonly used in video game engine technology, GoBOXX MXL VR is designed to provide high-end graphics while ensuring a seamless VR experience where optimal frame rates must be at least 90 fps.
