HBM Software Extends Data Acquisition Support

HBM, a provider of data acquisition systems, has upgraded its Perception software for high-speed data acquisition. Version 6.60, according to the company, now has capabilities that make it easier to perform high-speed data collection on electric inverters and drive features along with user customization features.

The software’s new “eDrive” application, according to a company press release, lets users visualize torque and rational speed as live curves. Fundamental RMS and Total Harmonic Distortion are also available as live computations. This means users can access their data while the measurement is running.

Individual workbenches can also be created to define to include specific restrictions, test functions and capabilities. These workbenches are also password-protected to maintain their unique settings.
