HP Unveils Big Data Cloud Platform

The system can help analyze a variety of data and help manage IT solutions.

HP has revealed HP Haven OnDemand, a Big Data platform that allows organizations to access components of the company’s analytics platform. The program, which runs on the HP Helion cloud, offers users the ability to analyze all forms of data.

With the application, users can access the following modules:

  • HP Vertica OnDemand: This delivers analytics on the cloud through a variety of flexible consumption models.
  • HP IDOL OnDemand: This leverages advanced data processing with a range of functions including contextual search, sentiment analysis and face detection.
Features of the Haven platform also include IT Operations Management, Intelligent Retention and Content Management and Security upgrades. These functions help bring together tools such as StoreAll, ControlPoint and RecordsManager to help manage information lifecycle management.
