Kaman Aerospace Establishes New Engineering Services Office

Kaman Aerospace Group announced that its subsidiary, Kaman Engineering Services, has opened a new office in North Charleston, SC.

According to a press release published on AviationPros.com, this new office will support the demand for the aerospace industry in the Southeast U.S. It also has already been rewarded a purchase order to work with Boeing’s 787 program structures.

Additionally, a team of Kaman employees will be co-located near Boeing’s North Charleston production facility.

“Kaman Engineering Services provides a unique, high-level engineering skill set and competency that aligns with the needs of Boeing SC’s operation,” Jim Larwood, president of Kaman Aerosystems, said. “This investment is one of several investments in Kaman’s strategy of geographic diversification, and we are pleased to be part of the growing research and development community in the Charleston region.”
