Kaman Aerosystems, Rolls-Royce Enter Multi-Year Contract

Kaman Aerosystems, a manufacturer of proprietary aircraft bearings and components, has been awarded a contract by Rolls-Royce. Under this agreement, Kaman will manufacture Composite A-Frame Fairings for the Trent XWB engine, which is to power the Airbus A350 XWB aircraft.

Kaman is a supplier of integrated aerostructures, including metallic and composite structural assemblies and metallic parts for OEM (original equipment manufacturers) and Tier 1 aerospace companies. The company provides complete aerostructure solutions including design, tooling, manufacturing, testing and support.
