Keynote Systems has announced Mobile Device Perspective Interactive (MDPi), a new add-on option for Mobile Device Perspective, that provides real-time interactive access to smart phones in remote locations.

The add-on option is part of Mobile Device Perspective (MDP) 4.0, which was also announced. With MDP 4.0, enterprise companies can now remotely monitor the performance of device-resident downloadable applications and mobile services on smart phones connected to live mobile operator networks to ensure they perform properly on the actual devices and networks used by their end users.

With MDPi, users can troubleshoot and diagnose performance problems for mobile applications that were detected with MDP 4.0.

In addition, Keynote has added smart phones to its mobile test and measurement network including the Apple iPhone, Android G1, Nokia N95,  Blackberry Curve, Blackberry Pearl, and more.
