Knovel has expanded its partner ecosystem with the addition of six publishing partners, bringing the total of new partners added in 2011 to 10.

New partners include the American Society for Microbiology, the American Welding Society, the Helvetian Press, the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology, the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization.

“The international mix of authoritative publishers and societies we’ve recently added to our roster of partners reflects Knovel’s worldwide footprint and expands the range of expertise available in our content portfolio,” says Delores Meglio, vice president, publisher relations for Knovel. “Engineers increasingly seek deeper content from trusted sources that is often not available elsewhere online. The industry-renowned relationships we develop ensure engineers can access the breadth and depth of information they need quickly through Knovel.”
