Kontron Extends KISS Industrial Servers

Kontron ( Poway, CA) extended its family of ultra quiet KISS industrial servers with a 4U version that has up to four 64-bit CPU cores.
The new Kontron KISS 4U KT965 features an integrated embedded ATX motherboard from Kontron with the Intel Q965 Express chipset and LGA 775 socket and offers Intel Embedded and Desktop performance up to the Intel CoreT2 Quad processor.
With its 64-bit multi-core performance and ultra quiet operation (less than 35dB), the Kontron KISS 4U KT965 is designed for data intensive applications such as those found in test and measurement or industrial and m edical image processing, and is also a suitable server for control ro oms and engineering offices.
The Kontron KISS server offers the processing power to combine previously separate systems on a single platform, saving hardware costs and increasing system reliability.
