PV Elite Version 2007, an enhanced edition of the vessel design and stress analysis software from COADE, Inc. (Houston, TX), incorporates the latest ASME code updates, including all of the formula and material changes required for new construction beginning in 2007, plus a number of new capabilities and features.

This updated version provides built-in computation of maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) for both sides of heat exchangers.  New wind and seismic codes have been added. A user can import nozzle loads directly from COADE’s CAESAR II pipe stress analysis software.

Other enhancements in PV Elite 2007 include a new feature that allows vessels designed and evaluated for vertical service to also be analyzed in the horizontal position, permitting analysis based on transportation to be conducted without re-entering the vessel design criteria. Also, the EN-13445 and PD 5500 material databases have been entirely reconstructed with many new materials added.
