LEDAS Ltd, a provider of computational software components for computer-aided design (CAD) systems, has launched the Driving Dimensions Labs as a part of its DrivingDimensions.com web site. Driving Dimensions Labs allows visitors to see some of LEDAS’  prototypes in action.

“Users of many CAD systems based on history-free modeling still suffer from lack of parametrization”, says Dmitry Ushakov,  director of Product Management, LEDAS Ltd. “Driving Dimensions for Google SketchUp was only the first product in the line. Driving Dimensions Labs has been created to share our ideas with the users of other CAD systems.”

Driving Dimensions Labs contains several videos that demonstrate Driving Dimensions prototypes working in different CAD environments. They are not in beta stage, but users can see how the idea of dimension-driven design can be implemented in different CAD environments.
