Lenovo has released the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, its new Ultrabook. Forged from carbon fiber, it is the company’s lightest 14-inch Ultrabook.
The company also announced the Lenovo Developer Program, a worldwide program to provide a variety of apps specialized for Lenovo consumer and commercial PC+ products.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon weighs less than three pounds and includes a high-resolution, 14-inch display in a 13-inch laptop design. It provides eight hours of battery life and fast charge times with Lenovo RapidCharge technology. It is also equipped with optional 3G mobile broadband and hotspot technology. The unit also has a backlit keyboard, multi-gesture glass surface touchpad, HD face-tracking camera, dual array microphones and Dolby-tuned audio.
