LMI Aerospace Gets Performance Award, Expanded EASA Approval

This signifies the company's commitment to excellence, the company states.

LMI Aerospace has been given a performance award for engineering services. The company’s Engineering Services  department maintained a silver performance rating for its business. The graded performance period was from Oct. 2013 to Sept. 2014.

Additionally, LMI’s U.K. subsidiary has been granted extended scope on its Design Organisation Approval for major repairs by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

“We are very pleased by EASA’s decision to expand our scope of approved work in Europe, opening the door for top line growth in aircraft service, repair and maintenance for LMI,” said Brian Olsen, acting president, Engineering Services. “We expect this new designation will strengthen our relationships with existing customers and provide a variety of new business development opportunities.”
