Maplesoft has released the newest version of its Maple software for education, research and development. With Maple 2015, users will have new abilities for data analysis, application development, statistics education and more.

Version 2015 has a new infrastructure for accessing, working with and visualizing millions of data sates. Its advances for the interface and computation include:

  • Added facilities for application development, such as customizations for one-step app creation and support for programmatic content creation;
  • Advances in mathematics integration, differential equations, iterative maps, group theory, physics and more;
  • New clickable math tools such as new palettes and 60 interactive math apps;
  • Extended support for statistics education;
  • And online sharing of documents and interactive applications through the MapleCloud.
“Because Maple combines an extremely powerful mathematics engine with an interface that makes it easy to analyze, explore, visualize, and solve mathematical problems, Maple is the ideal tool for both the academic world and industry,” says Dr. Laurent Bernardin, executive vice president and chief scientist at Maplesoft. “With Maple 2015, the new facilities for handling data sets make it even easier to use Maple to examine important global trends and make sense of the reams of data that surround us.
