Wolfram Research (Champaign, IL) releasedMathematica Player Pro 7, the professional platform for delivering interactiveapplications built with new Mathematica 7 technology.

With therecently released Mathematica 7, Wolfram Research added more than 500 newfunctions and says it is the first in the technical computing industry tointegrate parallel computing into its standard product.

The newPlayer Pro 7 comes with the same built-in technology to parallelize computationsover multiple cores. It also supports other application areas introduced inMathematica 7, including image processing and on-demand curated data, whileretaining all the features of the original Mathematica Player Pro 6 releasedwith Mathematica 6.

Player Pro7 gives access to Mathematica 7- and 6-compatible applications, allowing fullinteraction with Mathematica’s revolutionary capabilities — executing multicorecomputations at runtime, performing adaptive visualization, controlling dynamicinterface elements, connecting to real-time data, and more.

Developerscan build applications in Mathematica and then use Player Pro to deliver themcost effectively to anyone.

Player Promarries convenient deployment with Mathematica’s computation and rapidapplication development environment — a suitable combination for workgroups, consulting teams, researchers, commercial application builders, and othersseeking to roll out dynamic solutions, whether to clients or across their ownorganizations.
