MCC Offers High Performance Data Acquisition

Offering includes several series to choose from.

Measurement Computing Corp. (MCC; Norton, MA) is offering selected high-performance DAQ devices with TracerDAQ PRO, an out-of-the-box, virtual instrument software suite.

The USB-1608HS with TracerDAQ Pro ($1199), a simultaneous sampling, 8-channel, 16-bit, USB-based analog input and digital I/O device with 8 DI or SE analog input channels; true simultaneous sampling (1 A/D converter per input); 16-bit resolution; 250kSps per channel (2MSps aggregate); 16 digital I/O bits-LED status indicators; 32-bit event counter; and analog digital trigger inputs. Also the USB-1608HS-2AO adds two 16-bit analog output channels.

A second offering, the USB-1616HS with TracerDAQ Pro ($1399), a 1-MHz, 16-channel, USB-based 16-bit multifunction module with 8 DI or 16 SE analog inputs with 7 programmable input ranges; any analog input can measure voltage or thermocouples; oversampling mode, including line-cycle rejection for ultra stable TC and low-level voltage measurements; 24 high-speed digital I/O; 4 counter inputs capable of measuring frequency, period, pulse width, or quadrature encoders up to 20 MHz. Also available is a USB-1616HS-2 (adds two 16-bit outputs) and a USB-1616HS-4 (adds four 16-bit outputs).

A third offering is the TracerDAQ PRO Data Acquisition Logger and Instrument Software Suite, which provides four virtual instrument applications used to graphically display and store input data-and generate output signals-within minutes of installing Measurement Computing data acquisition hardware. The applications allow the user to customize appearance, store configurations for future use, save data to a file for export and — with the use of interactive hotspots — change settings while the application is running.
