Microstar Laboratories, Inc. (Bellevue, WA) announced a new board, MSXB 084, which includes 16 differential analog inputs. Onboard 16-bit analog-to-digital conversion reduces signal exposure to noise from other circuits. Eight boards in a 19-inch rack-mountable industrial enclosure can connect to a single DAP board.
A PC or DAPserver can control multiple local DAP boards and many more across a network as a synchronized system with several hundred channels of isolated analog input, all of it protected from ground loops. The new board is available now, and the company provides hardware at no charge for evaluation.
The MSXB 084 for isolated analog inputs is suited for applications where signal isolation matters, and eliminating ground loops is important. It is also useful when compact packaging helps, or when your application could use more channels.
