ModuleWorks, Vectorcam Extend Partnership

The companies plan to add 5-axis simulation capabilities in the CAD/CAM software.

ModuleWorks has extended its partnership with vectorcam GmbH. This continuation means that the company will now provide 5-axis machining technology for the vectorcam platform.

The companies partnered in 2011 to integrate ModuleWorks simulation into vectorcam. The software is a system for milling, drilling, during and wire EDM.

“Our customers have been telling us they have growing requirements for advanced 5-axis technology. After a very successful first integration with ModuleWorks technology, it was an easy decision to go back to them for their machining technology and we look forward to being able to offer our customers industry proven 5-Axis technology,” said Günter Böhning, CEO of vectorcam.
