Molex Expands Business, Portfolio

The company made several acquisitions last year in the automation and industrial markets.

Molex LLC, has expanded its growth in packaging machine, robot manufacturing and systems integration markets worldwide. The company offers complete solutions for intelligent, on-machine control systems.

To complement this growth, the company acquired two organizations in 2014 — GWconnect and Flamar. These Italy-based companies provide hardware for automation, robotics, industrial robots and telecommunications.

Molex is also expanding its own portfolio with several soon-to-be released products and families. These include:

  • PROFINET IO-Link Portfolio
  • EtherNet/IP Safety I/O
  • EtherNet/IP Roller Drive I/o
  • Brad Micro-Push M12 Connectors
  • Brad Industrial Ethernet Solutions
  • SST Ethernet and Serial Communication Modules
