NAFEMS North America Comes to Washington in September

Conference will focus on future of simulation technology.

The NAFEMS  (National Agency for Finite Element Methods and Standards) North America Conference will be held September 11-12 in Washington, D.C., at the Hyatt Dulles.

Based around the theme “Engineering Simulation: A 2020 Vision of the Future,” topic areas will include commercial impact of CAE investments;  innovations in simulation technology; engineering simulation processes;  human issues; and futuristic considerations.

Ahmed Noor of Old Dominion University will provide the opening keynote. Other presenters include Norbert Doerry, Naval Sea Systems Command, and representatives from Autodesk, Dassault, NVIDIA, Aberdeen, and Simulia.

The event is open to NAFEMS members and non-members. Sampler courses will also be available during the conference, starting September 10.
