3D Systems showcased polypropylene sintering material jointly with TRIAL Corporation.

Demonstrated on a Sinterstation Pro SLS System at the Design Engineering & Manufacturing Solutions Expo (DMS) in Tokyo, June 2008, was 3D Systems’ (Rock Hill, SC) new polypropylene based material, DuraForm XR300.

Jointly developed with Japanese company, TRIAL Corporation this new material is characterized by its flexibility, translucency, and its white color. It has good chemical resistance and elevated impact strengths, and is designed for applications such as automotive interiors that demand flexible, durable and soft parts. The material is not yet commercially available.
