Carlson Software has released Carlson Survey 2012 Embedded AutoCAD, the company’s intuitive surveying office software with an AutoCAD engine built in.

Improvements include increased 3D visualization, new 3D coding in its industry-renowned field-to-finish, and the ability to produce customized, more professional reports. The solution features more than 100 new and improved routines, most of which are based on user input. This product is in addition to Carlson Survey 2012, a module of the Carlson 2012 office product line, which comes with IntelliCAD 7.1 built-in, and runs on AutoCAD/Map/Civil3D, versions 2000 through 2012.

Carlson has added support for more coordinate systems and for angles in GON format, which were requests from international users. This is combined with added support for Carlson SurvCE CSL and Esri PRJ projections definitions.

Carlson Survey 2012 can be used along with Carlson SurvCE data collection software for seamless office and field operations for sharing data files, field-to-finish coding and COGO functions by using the identical data and settings files. Carlson Survey 2012 also supports all other major data collectors with data transfer and conversions.
