NextComputing Releases Radius EX All-In-One, Portable Workstation

NextComputing, a provider of portable and small footprint workstations and servers, has announced its newest portable workstation, the Radius EX. Promising desktop-class computing performance in a transportable,  all-in-one design, the Radius EX is designed to run high-end software applications outside of a typical office environment or in multiple locations.

Highlights of the Radius EX include:

  • All-in-one chassis with built-in 17-in. 1920x1200 display
  • Aluminum alloy chassis with padded leather handle
  • Single Intel Core i7 processor or dual Intel Xeon 5600 series processors
  • PCI Express or PCI expansions slots
  • 48GB of RAM
  • SATA or 12 SAS 2.5-in. fixed internal hard drives, for more than 7TB of high-speed storage
  • Removable SATA/SAS hard drives for service and upgradeability without tools
